Our client is a US insurance company, subsidiary of Fortune 500 companies. This is an “insurance startup” with an agile culture and approach to work, and future oriented approach to technology. Product is internally developed Claims Management system. The product is in the early development stage. Once MVP goes live, project will continue to stabilize the product and enhance it with new features and AI -powered workflows embedded directly into real business processes.
Radity is running software development projects with the client for more than 3 years. This is not an outsourcing role, but a real product engineering role, where you will be part of a big joint Radity and Client team. Engineers are trusted with context, real problems, and responsibility for delivering outcomes.
You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and sometimes clients to design, build, and evolve a complex platform used by insurance professionals every day.
What You’ll Do
- Own features end to end — from understanding the business problem to solution design, implementation, deployment, and iteration
- Design and build backend services using TypeScript, Prisma and Fastify
- Develop modern frontend features using React and TypeScript
- Work with PostgreSQL
- Contribute to the evolution of the platform architecture and technical standards
- Build and integrate AI-powered workflows that support complex claims management business flows, using existing AI services and tooling where appropriate
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to shape solutions, not just implement requirements
- Take responsibility for testing, CI/CD, releases, and production readiness
- Continuously improve performance, reliability, observability, and developer experience
- Use modern AI-assisted coding tools as part of daily engineering work
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of professional experience as a software engineer
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript + React, Prisma
- Experience building and operating real production systems (not just isolated components)
- Solid understanding of system design, architecture, and trade-offs
- Comfort working with incomplete requirements and asking the right questions
- Experience with Azure or similar cloud platforms
- Practical experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and deployments
- Product-oriented mindset — focus on user value and business outcomes
- Active, practical use of AI tools in daily development
- Experience in client-facing or stakeholder discussions
- Upper-Intermediate English or higher
