We are looking for a Business Analyst / Project Manager to join our remote-first team. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver software solutions for the insurance industry, helping transform complex business requirements into successful technology projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working on enterprise software, system integrations, and digital transformation initiatives while acting as the bridge between business and engineering.

Your Role

In this role, you will lead requirement gathering, coordinate project execution, and ensure successful delivery by working closely with both business stakeholders and software engineering teams.

Beyond documentation, we are looking for someone who can understand technical discussions, manage priorities, facilitate communication across teams, and help drive projects from discovery through delivery. Experience working on complex software projects is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into clear functional requirements
• Gather, document, and refine business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Manage project scope, priorities, timelines, and stakeholder expectations
• Coordinate with engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• Facilitate workshops, backlog refinement sessions, sprint planning, and project meetings
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Support solution design by balancing business needs with technical feasibility
• Track project progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones
• Ensure delivered solutions align with business objectives and user expectations
• Use AI tools to support analysis, documentation, and project delivery

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, Product Owner, or similar role
• Experience working on software development projects alongside engineering teams
• English proficiency: minimum B2, ideally C1
• Strong analytical thinking, ownership, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work on complex software projects involving multiple teams and business domains
• Experience in the insurance industry or with insurance software platforms is a strong plus
• Experience in a client-facing or consulting environment is a plus
