We are looking for a Software Engineer to work on backend development, data integration, and system transformation challenges within the insurance domain.


Your Role

In this role, you will build and integrate systems using technologies like TypeScript, Python, or Java, while also working with data from both legacy and modern platforms. The work includes API development, data processing, and system integration.


This position requires strong analytical thinking, ownership, and the ability to understand business context, not just implement tasks.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop backend services and APIs using TypeScript, Python, or Java
  • Design and implement data integration and migration solutions
  • Work with SQL, files, and legacy systems to process and transform data
  • Integrate systems via REST APIs and modern architectures
  • Perform data mapping, transformation, and validation
  • Contribute to system design and technical decisions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand problems and deliver practical solutions
  • Use AI tools to support analysis and engineering work


Requirements

  • Experience in backend development and software engineering
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, or Java
  • English proficiency: minimum B2, ideally C1
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with structured data
  • Experience with REST APIs and system integrations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with incomplete requirements and structure problems
  • Comfortable in a client-facing or consulting-style environment
